Moving on, it merits note that Jono busted open the show with a solo set which gave me goosebumps. Also, in his infinite grace and mercy, my bandmate included Top Five in his solo set, and rocked it! We have performed this song together on a couple of occasions, but in spite if finding it a great song, I've never enjoyed performing it myself. Now I know why. That song is all Jono, and there is nothing to be gained by adding to that mix.
All in all, it was a night to remember and an experience for which I am grateful. This Saturday is the Houston City Dance Tutu 5k and After-party at Brian O'Neill's in Rice Village. It benefits Camp HOPE (a camp for kids living with HIV/AIDS) and is the current focal point of our collective existence. Register for it now at https://register.raceassist.com ! Once tutu mayhem has settled, Jono and I look forward to buckling down and working hard to create new and exciting things for you to feast your ears on.
Bisou bisou,
--joie
